Implementing an Effective Drainage Solution

CS Plumbing designed and installed a gravity-fed French drain system specifically engineered to capture and redirect water before it could jeopardise the home’s foundation.

The project comprised several crucial elements:

A French drain system meticulously crafted to gather surface and subsurface water from adjacent properties, directing it via gravity to a concrete pit.
A 100mm PVC pipe extending from the pit to the curb, equipped with strategically drilled holes in the curb to facilitate efficient water discharge.
Replacement of the original smaller pipes with three new, larger-diameter Colorbond metal downpipes, linked to new 100mm PVC piping leading to the curb.
A retaining wall system constructed along the boundary, utilising concrete sleepers and galvanised steel posts, with auger holes drilled with an excavator to create a robust barrier against the neighbouring yard.
Efficient removal of soil on-site, aided by a dumper for streamlined site management.
